There comes a time during every Harry Potter movie marathon when you realise that you wish you were like a particular character. For me, this character is Luna Lovegood. She is a total mystic child of the moon, and I wish I had her lightness, self-assurance and insight.

Unfortunately, in the cold light of day, I must face the fact that I am a lot more like Hermione Granger. I’m a total nerd, love reading non-fiction books, have fluffy hair, and am probably a bit of a goody two shoes, unless pissed off. However, I want to state, for the record, that I would never ever snog Ron, not even in an emergency.

Just to add insult to injury, my husband is most like Neville, but I can’t see JK rewriting her books so that Hermione (instead of Luna) ends up with Neville, just to make me feel better. At least in this house, Neville seems pretty happy with Hermione.

So, who is your Hogwarts double? I have a friend who confesses to being like Hagrid, and she’s totally on the mark, which I find strangely disturbing.

One of my in-laws has been replicated in Dolores Umbridge, down to the hollow scary giggle.

I would be completely astonished to find someone just like Severus Snape or Bellatrix, but I’d love to meet an arse-kicking Molly Weasley.
